This is proof M&M’s Minis are just better.

This is proof M&M’s Minis are just better.

The chocolate-covered hill I’m willing to die on is that M&M’s Minis are the best size of M&M’s and taste better than their larger counterparts. They have a better ratio of shell to chocolate filling, are way more fun to eat (catch me shoveling handfuls at a time), and actually melt in your mouth because they’re so small.

Oh, and mini M&M’s are great in everything. They make for a better trail mix inclusion than larger sizes because they don’t overpower the other salty munchies. They’re fun in brownies and great for decorating and making patterns on cakes. And when it comes to baking M&M’s cookies, the Minis are so much better because they aren’t these large chunks distracting from the cookie dough. Instead, they complement the sweet dough as miniature melty morsels.

Yet for some reason, everybody wants to use the classic M&M’s in everything. If you buy a cookie or trail mix set from the store, they use the regular-size M&M’s (or the off-brand chocolate-shelled candies; I’m not letting them get away with this either). I’ve always felt that brands need to recognize the power of M&M’s Minis, including M&M’s because where are the mini versions of the unique M&M’s flavors? Now, however, one beloved dessert chain is recognizing the Minis for their greatness.

Crumbl Drops New M&M’s Minis Cookie Thins

This week, Crumbl is dropping a new lineup of cookie thins, which may disappoint lovers of the chain’s signature thick, doughy cookies but is a major win for us M&M’s Minis lovers. Why? Because M&M’s and Crumbl have teamed up to create the M&M’s Minis Cookie Thins. One order comes with two of these specialty thins, meaning you can get two M&M’s cookies for the price of one regular-sized cookie.

The M&M’s Minis Cookie Thins are your classic, golden cookie dough dotted with a generous helping of mini M&M’s. The fact that the cookies are thin means you’ll be getting a lot of crunch from the M&M’s in comparison to the thin layer of sweet, soft yet crispy cookie. Really, the dough is just the vehicle for getting the M&M’s into your mouth.

If M&M’s aren’t your thing, or you don’t want to head over to Crumbl for just one cookie, don’t worry. This week’s line-up also includes 10 other flavors, making it a much larger menu than usual. The other offerings include Red Velvet, stuffed with white chocolate chips and drizzled with white icing; Cake Batter, filled with rainbow sprinkles; and Strawberry, covered in powdered sugar and dainty dried strawberry morsels.

There are two Thin Sandwich Cookies: Dubai-Style Chocolate featuring pistachio and kataifi filling between two chocolate cookies, and Mallow with brownie pieces and marshmallow-and-cream mousse sandwiched between chocolate thins.

Crumbl is also collabing with Biscoff this week, creating a Cookie Butter-flavored cookie with Biscoff cookie crumbs baked in. Finally, you can grab thins versions of Crumbl’s Chocolate Chip, Pink Sugar, S’mores, and Brownie Batter flavors.

The mini M&M’s Crumbl thin, as well as the entire thins menu, is available and will be around until July 25. After that, who knows when or if mini M&M’s will reappear on the Crumbl menu, so it’s best to head over before they disappear.
