The popular fitness app is expanding beyond workouts, letting members redeem credits for family attractions across the U.S.

A number of theme parks, zoos, and other attractions are now part of the expanding ClassPass.

The app, known for its fitness and wellness activities, will now include a host of entertainment and family attractions, the company shared with Travel + Leisure. These include the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Georgia Aquarium, the Kennedy Space Center, Legoland Florida, the Phoenix Zoo, the San Antonio Zoo, SeaWorld SanDiego, Sesame Place San Diego, SixFlags Magic Mountain, and the Golf N’ Stuff Family Fun Park in Norwalk, California.

The United States expansion is a collaboration with EBG, a leading entertainment and travel commerce platform that connects brands to high-value experiential offerings.

“Our mission has always been to give users one flexible way to access wellness, however they define it,” Fritz Lanman, the CEO of Playlist, ClassPass’s parent company, said in a statement shared with T+L. “For some that’s a yoga class or a spa visit; for others it’s a day out with family at an amusement park. Adding theme parks, zoos, and aquariums extends that mission to even more of the experiences our users love, while giving these venues a powerful new channel for attendance and incremental revenue.”

Theme park enthusiasts looking to take advantage of this can experience Legoland Florida’s Galacticoaster, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s thrilling line up of roller coasters like Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, and Hooper’s Store at Sesame Place San Diego. ClassPass credits can be redeemed for bundles of one, two, or four tickets.

The launch builds on ClassPass’s rapidly growing lifestyle offerings, extending beyond fitness and wellness to include movies, painting, live events, and more. The app, which was first founded in 2013 offering access to a series of fitness classes, has now grown to 31 countries and counts tens of thousands of fitness studios, gyms, salons, and spas in its network.

The demand has now gone beyond fitness. From March to May, ClassPass saw a 22 percent increase in movie bookings after Regal Cinemas, Marcus Theatres, and Look Dine-In Cinemas joined AMC Theatres on the app. New experiences are available to book through the ClassPass app and the company’s website.

Beyond ClassPass, there are other ways to save money while exploring beloved theme parks from being strategic about when you go to budgeting with gift cards, taking advantage of nearby free or low-cost activities (think: exploring the entertainment districts of Disney Springs or Downtown Disney), and considering enlisting a travel agent to plan.
