The Huda Beauty Products I Reach For Without Even Thinking

The products that earned holy grail status...

There are very few beauty brands I can say I’ve genuinely worked through almost the entire product range. Huda Beauty has officially earned its place in my makeup bag hall of fame.

While I do lock into an influencer recommendation now and again (once they've passed the authenticity test), I also know how overwhelming it can be trying to decide what's actually worth spending your money on – especially in this financial climate.

We've all become a lot more savvy when it comes to influencer marketing, and I'll be the first to admit I've fallen into the trap once or twice of seeing a product everywhere, convincing myself I needed it, only to later spot the tiny #PR or #Gifted hidden away in the caption... only to find the product absolutely flopped.

So, after years of trying new launches, testing viral products, and figuring out what actually stands out, these are the Huda Beauty products I'll never turn my back on.

1.Easy Bake Loose Powder

Don’t sue me, but I’ve never been a powder girl. Ever. I’ve always actually liked the shine; I like to call it the 'back of a spoon' look that Gen Z would now call “glass skin”. Matte and I have never really been friends. But somewhere in my late 20s, my “healthy glow” started crossing the line into looking like I’d just finished a 10K. I don’t know if there’s any science behind it, but I swear I’ve become more of an oily girl as I’ve gotten older. While I still don’t want to mattify my entire face, I’ve had to accept that some areas need a little extra help – especially my T-zone, where oil seems determined to make an appearance no matter what. Enter Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Loose Powder . Especially during these unpredictable UK heatwaves, it’s become the step that keeps everything locked in place and exactly where it’s supposed to be. I’ll admit it: this is the powder that converted me. The way it instantly smooths the look of my skin, blurs pores and brightens my under-eye area is pretty impressive. Becca Monaghan/BuzzFeed UK

2.#FauxFilter Under Eye Color Corrector

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been a longtime fan of Maybelline’s Instant Anti-Age Eraser and YSL’s iconic Touche Éclat since I was around 17, so convincing me to broaden beyond what I know in the under-eye department was inevitably going to take some work. Huda Beauty’s #FauxFilter Under Eye Color Corrector first dropped a few years back, and I wasn’t completely sold at first glance. That’s because the shades are very peachy, and as us millennials know, we've always been taught to go lighter under the eyes with a concealer shade as close to our skin tone as possible. But this completely changed my mind. I picked up the shade ‘Light Peach’ and was surprised by how seamlessly it blended into my skin. One of my biggest under-eye pet peeves is products that settle into fine lines and draw more attention. That wasn't the case. Whether it's wizardry or carefully crafted ingredients, this lightweight corrector somehow smooths out any sign of creasing and hollowness. Rather than caking under-eyes with layers of concealer, this product helps neutralise dull, tired-looking undertones, which means you only need a very small amount. A few small dots really are enough. It’s become a staple in my lazy girl routine , quite literally concealing the fact I’ve had five hours' sleep and successfully gaslighting the world that I’m raring to go. Becca Monaghan/BuzzFeed UK

3.Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation With Niacinamide

Believe it or not, for someone who is passionate about makeup, I actually don't wear it all that often (lip liner is sometimes the exception). I work from home, after all, and quite frankly don’t see the point in applying a full base when I’m sitting behind a screen all day. But when I’m heading to an event or seeing friends, I’m very much a “go big or go home” kind of girl – something I’ve learnt is a very Northern thing. I’m talking full coverage, contour to the heavens, and a nice little smoky eye to round things off. But the foundation is the star of the show, the base is what sets the tone. For months, I kept seeing people on socials doing half-face comparisons with Huda Beauty’s Easy Blur range , and I locked in ( great marketing ). I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever used a foundation that gives such a real-life Instagram filter effect, think 'Paris'. Powered by 1.5% niacinamide and silica to help smooth the look of texture, it creates a soft-focus finish without looking heavy. It’s medium-buildable coverage, but somehow still feels lightweight and serum-like, which is a rarity in the beauty world. It covers what I want it to while still letting my skin look like skin – and with 38 shades available, there’s a shade match for a huge range of skin tones. Becca Monaghan/BuzzFeed UK

4.Easy Bake Intense Eau De Parfum

I know, I know. Celebrity perfumes (or brands that suddenly venture into fragrance) can be incredibly hit or miss. They’re typically overpowered with alcohol or vanish within the hour. There’s no in-between. But having tried the original Easy Bake limited edition release, which has sadly been discontinued (please bring it back!!!), I already knew Huda Beauty knew what she was doing. Earlier this year, Huda Beauty dropped a bolder, more refined version of the cult-favourite scent – taking that sweet, freshly baked vanilla vibe and turning it into something warmer, richer and more grown. It still has that signature Easy Bake DNA, but it’s more intense (hence the name). Wild cherry opens the scent before moving into creamy caramel milk, spiced cinnamon bark and soft white florals, finishing with a warm vanilla bourbon base that lingers beautifully on the skin. And for those in that Huda Beauty TikTok lore – I can categorically confirm it does not smell like fish. It’s one of my fragrances that draws quite a few “what are you wearing?” comments and, while I’m admittedly a gatekeeper when it comes to scents, here I am sharing it with the world. 5.Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 in 'Muted Pink'

When I ask myself, "Where all my money’s gone this month?", chances are it’s on my lips. I’m somewhat of a lip liner addict, but I’m also a creature of habit, so when I find a brand or product that delivers the exact result I’m looking for, I stick to it. Why fix something that isn’t broken? I tend to rotate between three versatile favourites: the Rhode Lip Shaper, Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic ‘Pillow Talk’, and Huda Beauty’s Lip Contour 2.0 in the shade ‘Muted Pink’. I’m particularly drawn to lip colours that aren’t too far off my natural lip shade, and Muted Pink is pretty much the perfect match for me. It’s just slightly darker, creating that subtle shadow effect that makes your lips look naturally more defined without looking overdone. I pretty much use it every day, and it's firmly on my birthday and Christmas lists when people don't know what to get. It’s creamy, lightweight, and genuinely stands the test of time. And despite being a matte product, it never leaves my lips feeling dry (something I’m very particular about), thanks to hydrating ingredients like soybean oil. Becca Monaghan/BuzzFeed UK
