Robbie Williams was not using cocaine during the World Cup final on Sunday, after a video went viral of a white object falling from his mouth onto a microphone during an interview. People, some who may have never seen drugs in their lives, thought the falling object was cocaine. Williams picked it up and scratched his face and then it stuck to his forehead. “Just like to apologize for the object that fell onto the microphone yesterday,” Williams began in a shirtless Instagram video on Monday morning. “I was deeply unprofessional, and people are worried about me, but it’s okay ‘cause I have several more.” He stuck out his tongue to show two mints, the actual culpurate.
,For those not a part of Robbie’s Angels or maybe didn’t see Better Man (shame, shame), Williams struggled with substance abuse, so when fans saw rumors of Williams doing drugs, it was worrying. “I was ingesting everything I could get my hands on: ecstasy, cocaine, drinking. I’m literally drinking like a bottle of vodka a night before going into rehearsals, so that’s happening every night,” Williams explained in his 2023 Netflix docuseries. He doesn’t need drugs to entertain you.
