Survivor legend Rick Devens gave up Superman for Big Brother 28 — “Epic Party” – 24 returning players are abandoned on the islands of Fiji for a monumental 50th season, with the chance to win $1 million. Superman's award-winning director James Gunn just revealed that Rick Devens chose to appear on Big Brother 28 instead of Man of Tomorrow this summer.

Chaos demon, pot-stirrer, coin flipper, and eccentric two-time Survivor player Rick Devens has more than a few tricks up his sleeve than just those we’ve seen from him on reality TV, so far. Quite surprisingly, Devens was this close to becoming a movie star as well.

Devens, who just starred on Survivor 50, decided to exchange the beach for a backyard, which is why he’s currently playing on Big Brother 28. While Survivor fans were ecstatic to learn about his new adventure, it turns out this BB opportunity also came at a price: a cameo in the DC Universe's upcoming film and Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, set to premiere in 2027.
