The same account was also accused of taking shots at several influencers believed to be friends with Taber.
The drama picked up even more after fans claimed several brand-new Reddit accounts suddenly popped up to defend Taber. Many of those posts reportedly used almost the same talking points, with some saying “everyone Googles themselves” while others argued the entire situation was created by AI. Instead of calming things down, those comments added more fuel to the online chatter.
The controversy has also put extra attention on Bower, whose popularity has skyrocketed in recent years thanks to his standout role as Vecna in Netflix’s Stranger Things.
