A second Lowe’s store is planned for Midland.

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a Lowe’s Home Improvement store will be built near the intersection of North Fairgrounds Road and East Wadley Avenue.

The store will be 107,163 square feet, and the project is expected to cost about $11 million, according to the state filing.

Construction is set to begin Jan. 4, 2027, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 2, 2028.

The store will be the second Lowe’s in Midland. The first is at 3315 N. Loop 250 W.
