It’s not the cheese curds, either.
The right condiment can make or break your meal. Fast food chicken tenders are instantly perked up with the right dipping sauce, and golden fries are made better with a flavorful pairing. At Culver’s, fans have a variety of options that complement the chain’s best entrées and sides, including honey mustard, Ken’s Boom Boom Sauce, and Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
But there’s another dipping sauce you may have been overlooking, and those who have tried it say it pairs well with nearly everything on the menu.
Why Fans Love Culver’s Signature Sauce
It’s hard to believe Culver’s made it nearly 40 years without introducing its own signature sauce, but in 2023, the restaurant made things right. Culver’s Signature Sauce hit menus as a versatile dipping option perfect for everything from fries to chicken and even cheese curds.
Culver’s Signature Sauce has a surprising amount of depth. If you ask us, the flavors are more akin to a house-made casual restaurant dressing than what you’d find in a fast food condiment.
The sauce starts with a rich buttermilk base. Parmesan and blue cheese punch up the flavor, which is rounded out by a blend of spices that includes garlic, green onion, dried bell pepper, and chipotle pepper powder.
The sauce has become a favorite among guests, including Allrecipes’ associate director of content marketing and operations, Cally Rhine, who called it the “actual best thing” on Culver’s menu.
And while some have been adding it to their orders for years, others are just now discovering the magic that is Culver’s Signature Sauce. On Facebook, someone shared a photo of the sauce and said they couldn’t believe how good it was. Ultimately, they gave it a “1000 out of 10” rating.
“So good on everything!” one commenter replied.
“Yes, I recently discovered it too, and [it was] such a game changer!” exclaimed another.
Culver’s Signature Sauce is included with select menu items and can be added à la carte from the Sauces & Dressings menu for just 35 cents. The next time you hit the drive-thru, be sure to snag a cup or two to enjoy with your next meal.
