“On the night of July 19, a Russian missile strike completely destroyed our main finished-goods warehouse,” Global Spirits said on Facebook.
The fire destroyed all warehouse facilities and the entire inventory. Preliminary estimates put the damage at more than 100 million hryvnias ($2.4 million).

The company said 74 million hryvnias of that amount had already been paid to Ukraine’s state budget in taxes, including excise tax, payroll taxes, value-added tax and corporate income tax.
“Due to the loss of our inventory, we are unable to deliver products to customers. We ask our partners to adjust their business plans accordingly, as our best-selling product will be temporarily unavailable,” Global Spirits said.

The company said it was already working to restore logistics and ensure uninterrupted operations.
“We also express our support for our warehouse neighbors, Goodwine, WineTime and WOG. We understand better than most what it means to lose products. But most importantly, no one was injured,” Global Spirits added.
As previously reported, a Russian missile strike completely destroyed Amtel, one of Ukraine’s largest logistics complexes, located in the Bucha district near Kyiv. Warehouses belonging to a number of well-known companies were located at the complex. Goodwine, WineTime and WOG were among the companies that reported losing warehouse facilities.
