Loomer stated that her personal journey across Ukraine allowed her to directly debunk numerous false claims she earlier promoted to her audience, adding that the trip generated significant public resonance.

"I can’t wait to post all my videos so people can see what I saw," she wrote.
"Prior to this trip, I believed many things about Ukraine, but now I see that most of them were either distorted or only partially true. I’m glad I’m staying here for a while longer to continue investigating the facts on my trip."
She added that her experiences forced her to reflect on "how powerful Russian propaganda is in the American media."
"Perhaps it is time for the U.S. Congress to hold hearings on Russian propaganda and how it is used to stoke social division in the United States," the blogger noted.
Ukrainian officials welcomed Loomer's visit and public acknowledgment of her past reliance on Russian narratives regarding the war. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhii Kyslytsya commended her effort, stating: "Nice to see you traveling around Ukraine — it's the only right way to learn about its people and what they are fighting for," replying to a post where Loomer stated she was "not in Russia because I'm not a propagandist," alongside video footage of her arriving via Ukrzaliznytsia train.

Presidential Office of Ukraine also underscored the visit's significance on its official Telegram channel: "It is very important that Laura Loomer is in Ukraine and seeing firsthand what is happening here. There is no better way to form an informed perspective than personal experience, which enables one to resist Russian propaganda."
Laura Loomer's shift on Ukraine
Loomer initially broke the news of her arrival on X, uploading video footage from her train ride into the country while openly acknowledging that her past attacks against Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stemmed directly from Russian influence operations. Admitting that she had lived in an information bubble and was manipulated by Russian media on social platforms, she stated that she intends to leave her old posts up as a reminder that she was wrong.
She explained that her trip was designed to personally cross-check the claims she had been fed, pledging to share the truth with her audience if she found no evidence to back up those narratives. On her first day alone, Loomer viewed photographs of priests killed by Russian forces in Bucha, visited a mass grave site containing victims of the occupation, and met with official agencies handling prisoner-of-war exchanges to review photos of Ukrainian captives.

Reflecting on the evidence of wartime atrocities, Loomer concluded that she had been lied to for years and felt a moral obligation to correct the record, pointing out how effectively Russia conducts information warfare.
