Walmart is one of those stores that seems to have everything. You can buy groceries, clothes, toiletries, and practically anything you need for your home, all in one place. But Ree Drummond may have found the one thing Walmart didn’t have yet, and thankfully, she just added it to The Pioneer Woman home collection.
Ree teased this info during a recent Walmart livestream, showing her fans the latest and greatest products for every room in the house. “I am beyond excited about this,” she said. “It’s not something, I believe, that Walmart has had. It’s a pillow, and it’s made of a material that you wouldn’t expect to see outside of a custom Western shop or a high-end furniture shop,” she added.
What could it possibly be? A cowhide pillow! In fact, there are two cowhide pillows, an 18-inch square patchwork pillow and a rectangular lumbar patchwork pillow. (If the square is already sold out near you, please check back. Walmart is restocking it soon.) What makes these so unique is that they’re made out of real cowhide, not synthetic.
“What I love about this is what you find with all cowhide: Every single piece is different, and every single pillow is different,” Ree explained. So when you order one of the pillows, it’s a bit of a “surprise,” as she puts it, but in the best way possible. “That’s really the charm,” she said of getting a pillow made from real cowhide.
Plus, since each one is one of a kind, you can create your own unique set of them if you collect a few! The fronts of the pillows are made with soft, textured cowhide, while the backs are made from durable cotton.
