ARRESTS, CITATIONS 

• A 36-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested at 8:43 p.m. Monday on a theft charge.

DISTURBANCES

• Police were called at 4:33 p.m. Monday to Brown's Shoe Fit, 901 W. Morton Ave., for a report of a woman acting erratically and making concerning statements. The situation was resolved, according to a police report.

• Police were called at 4:11 p.m. Monday to JC Penney, 901 W. Morton Ave., for a report of a woman making concerning statements. The situation was resolved, according to a police report.

THEFTS, BURGLARIES

• A lift truck valued at $8,500 was stolen fro the 300 block of South Clay Avenue, according to a report filed at 12:38 p.m. Monday.

• Property was stolen during a break-in at American Family Insurance, 901 W. Morton Ave.,  according to a report filed at 10:23 a.m. Monday.

VANDALISM

• A house being foreclosed on in the 700 block of Allen Avenue was damaged, according to a report filed at 3:40 p.m. Monday.
