Lukeman Garden and Education Center will have an open house and self-guided tours from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the garden at Lincoln Avenue between Hoagland Boulevard and Morton Avenue.

Lukeman Garden and Education Center will have an open house and self-guided tours from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the garden at Lincoln Avenue between Hoagland Boulevard and Morton Avenue.

The event is an effort of Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Agri-Industry Division’s Summer Ag Tour, according to the chamber.

Ken Johnson, horticulture educator for University of Illinois Extension, and Michelle Berg, agriculture and natural resources educator for Extension, will be on hand to share information on the garden’s ongoing research and community engagement projects.
