Luna the black panther and Venza the Rottweiler have lived under the same roof since Luna was eight days old.
In 2019, a traveling zoo reached out to Venza's mom after Luna's mother rejected her newborn cub. She agreed to take the kitten in and later purchased her from the zoo's management, who had planned to sell her.

Venza, already a full-grown Rottweiler at the time, became Luna's first companion and her primary trainer.
Years later, their mom put Luna and Venza to the ultimate intelligence test: Who is smarter, a dog or a cat?
Three Games to Decide a Winner
Using sausages as treats, Luna and Venza's mom had the pair compete in three games to find out the winner.
The first task saw a treat placed under an upside-down bowl, with the goal of retrieving the treat. Venza worked out the mechanics and ate the sausage quickly, winning round one. Luna completed the task, but she took more time.
For the second task, their mom hid the treat under a towel. Luna tried to shake the towel and eat through it. Eventually, she got to the treats. Venza, on the other hand, sniffed them and moved the towel to uncover the treats.
The final task was a three-cup shell game, with one cup concealing a treat. By the end of the video, Venza claimed the winner's crown. Still, Luna did well, too.
