National Weather Service confirms 2nd Tri-State tornado from Tuesday's storms

OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - The National Weather Service has confirmed a second tornado hit the Tri-State during Tuesday's storms.

The NWS confirmed a tornado struck in Owen County based on video and radar evidence. It will survey damage there and adjacent counties Wednesday.

The NWS already confirmed a tornado in Pierce Township in Clermont County.

They'll take a look at damage in eastern Clinton County and damage survey results are pending for Brown County, near Hamersville.

They're still working on information about the scale and paths of these tornadoes.

Tornado warnings were issued in Clermont, Brown and Adams counties in Ohio and Owen, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant and Pendleton counties in Kentucky during those storms Tuesday.

While there were a number of trees down and properties damaged, there haven't been any reports of serious injuries.
