Myles Garrett is ready for a fresh start.

In Touch can confirm that the professional football player, 30, purchased 14,888 square feet of land in Hidden Hills, California, after being traded to the Los Angeles Rams.

It appears that the defensive end will be building his new home from the ground up as he gets ready to take on his next chapter in Los Angeles.

According to the Rams’ website, Garrett was acquired from the Browns in exchange for Los Angeles outside linebacker Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick.

The 2025 NFL Defensive Player of the Year set the NFL single-season sack record with 23. He has amassed 125.5 sacks throughout his first nine NFL seasons.

Overall, according to the Rams, Garrett has “played in 134 games (131 starts) and recorded 412 tackles (293 solo), 149 tackles for loss, 125.5 sacks, 23 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, 613 pressures, 372 hurries and one defensive touchdown.”

After the trade was made official on June 1, Garrett posted a farewell message to Browns fans on Instagram.

“Nine years. It’s hard to put into words what that really means when so much of your life has been shaped in one place, around one team, and with one community behind you,” he wrote in part.

“From my very first play, you embraced me, and I wanted to help bring winning back to a city whose loyalty, resilience, and belief never wavered,” he continued. “What I didn’t fully understand then was how much this city would shape me.”

Garrett also owns a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home in Wadsworth, Ohio, that he purchased in November 2018 for $1.26 million.
