A man accused of running over and dragging his girlfriend in a gas station parking lot in Collinsville has been formally charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatality accident.
According to Collinsville Police, 39-year-old Tyler Kendrick is accused of hitting the woman with his vehicle on July 3. Investigators said Kendrick's tires drove over the victim before he left the scene.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Police said Kendrick was later arrested and admitted to running over the victim.
Court records show Kendrick has now been formally charged with one count of manslaughter and one count of leaving the scene of a fatality accident.
Kendrick remains in custody without bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled for 10 a.m. July 28 in Cherokee Nation Tribal Court.

A family is grieving the loss of a mother of seven after police say she was run over and killed in a gas station parking lot. Investigators have arrested her boyfriend in connection with her death.
Collinsville police say Amber Pippin and her boyfriend argued shortly before the incident. Police later arrested Tyler Kendrick on complaints of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatality.
Pippin's family said she dedicated her life to raising her seven children, who range in age from 3 to 18.
"It's just a different feeling when it's your child," her mother, Dena Schnorrenberg, said. "It's terrible."
Schnorrenberg described her daughter as a devoted mother who was always caring for others and enjoyed spending time with family.
"This is going to be hard. It's my first child. She was my best friend," she said.
Pippin's cousin, Brittany Cathcart, said the loss has left a hole in the family.
"She would call me in the morning to check in with us and always made sure everybody in the family was good," Cathcart said.
In the days since Pippin's death, the family said they have been overwhelmed by support from friends, neighbors and the community.
Schnorrenberg said one message from her daughter's best friend captured who Pippin was.
"More than anything, Amber wanted a life filled with love, laughter and precious moments with her babies," she said.
The family said their priority is now caring for Pippin's seven children while continuing to grieve.
"I just really hope that she gets the justice that she deserves," Cathcart said.
Family members also hope that sharing Pippin's story raises awareness about the dangers of domestic violence.
Police said Kendrick was arrested in Owasso after license plate reader cameras detected his vehicle near 116th Street North and Garnett Road. Officers used information from the camera system and a police drone to locate and take him into custody.
"When that tag crossed one of the FLOCK cameras, the drone saw that vehicle coming in the exact spot, and there were two officers up in that area as well. They basically just honed in on him," Owasso Police Capt. Nick Boatman said.
According to jail records, Kendrick remains in the Tulsa County Jail on a hold from the Cherokee Nation.
Pippin's family said they plan to organize a memorial in her honor in the coming weeks.
