Maine coon cat's tiny indoor voice doesn't match his villain character look

Maine Coon Cat's Tiny Indoor Voice Doesn't Match His Villain Character Look

Such a handsome boy!

Maine Coon cats are highly regarded for their majestic, regal good looks and fun-loving, almost dog-like personalities. With the ability to grow into massive adults, these cats can sometimes look a little intimidating. Enter Barny: a gorgeous Maine Coon who could easily pass as a Disney villain—but it's his teeny, tiny voice that makes him one adorable little fellow.

Barny has the world holding a collective breath to hear just a little more of this meek, mild boy. As a stunning black Maine Coon with colossal paws and a woolly Swiffer Duster tail, you'd expect his vocalizations to be a bit deeper. The juxtaposition is wild and makes him even more lovable!

The Maine Coon with a human name has nearly 200k TikTok followers, and they're all tuning in for videos like this, and it's clear Barny's more than happy to provide, even if he is saying "no touchy!"

"The looks don't match the cutest chirps," one person commented. Some devoted fans even deemed him a tiny bit grouchy, with another giving him the title of a "barky baby." He's checking all the boxes, he's green flag central, and he deserves at least a dozen treats for his troubles.

Now that Barny's small voice is known, he deserves his close-up so you can take in all the magnificent glory this fluffy kitty is. He could play a villain in any animated movie with his gorgeous green gaze. And let's have a moment for those little toe beans complete with fur tufts (swoon!):

Maine Coon Cats Have a Variety of Vocal Talents

As cute as Barny's chirps are, that's just one of the many vocal talents of Maine Coons. These funny cats aren't big complainers in terms of a typical "meow," but they will show off chirps, trills, high-pitched meows, and other adorable sounds that some other cat breeds don't make.

Barny's little noises stem from feeling agitated and when expressing his annoyance, but he might also use these sounds when he's excited, wants attention, or to say hello to his humans. Whatever he's saying, it's easy to see why everyone is obsessed with this hilariously vocal boy!
