A small reveal with the latest Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture preview gave us greater insight into the mysterious Secret Lair bundle. Given that we'd seen so little of this set and product lineup until now, all signs pointed to this being a limited-availability release via the Secret Lair website.
Alas, while this is the case, that's only half of the story, and the product is much more like the Secrets of Strixhaven Codex Bundle. It's easy to see why such a model has been recreated, though, as the Codex Bundle proved a hit with players and was hard to find for MSRP in the US.
What Is In The Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle?
The Reality Fracture Secret Lair bundle is a set-exclusive sealed product that includes the following items.
- Two Collector Booster Packs
- Six Play Booster Packs
- 20 Traditional Foil Borderless Basic Lands
- D20 Spindown Die
- Storage Box
- Promo Pack with two of ten possible Secret Lair Art Variants for Reality Fracture
This is fairly similar to the Codex Bundle in that it's a mix of Collector Boosters and Play Boosters, with the chance to snag some cool promo cards from a limited list. However, with this Reality Fracture bundle, the artwork of the chosen promo cards is much more in line with what you'd expect from a Secret Lair drop.
What this means is the cards are designed with little to no relation to the set, so to speak, and instead follow a much less restrictive set of guidelines.
This is how we get an Anime-style The Theorist, Jace Beleren, an abstract Enlightened Confidant, and much more. The art styles we've seen so far are very cool, and this is a far more interesting product for their inclusion.
How Can You Buy A Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle?
As the name suggests, the Secret Lair Bundle from Reality Fracture will be available on the Secret Lair website, but it is not yet confirmed whether it will be a limited-release or print-to-demand offering.
If you're not keen to battle the Secret Lair website, though, you can instead get this product through official WPN stores. This means your local game store can order these in and sell them on the release date.
This suggests the Secret Lair bundle isn't all that limited, though it may only get one initial printing run, which would make a lot of sense.
