Recently, Krispy Kreme dropped its summer menu, which includes doughnuts inspired by seasonal desserts.
Now, the chain is adding an all-new version of its OG doughnut to menus, but you’ll have to act fast if you want to try it.
Krispy Kreme Introduces Original Glazed Blueberry Flavored Doughnuts
This week, Krispy Kreme is baking up an all-new flavor that blueberry fans won’t want to miss. From July 23 through July 26, guests can order Original Glazed Blueberry Flavored Doughnuts.
“Nothing says summer quite like blueberries, and we’re bringing that peak-of-season flavor to our iconic Original Glazed doughnut,” said Alison Holder, chief product and brand officer at Krispy Kreme, in a recent press release. “The Original Glazed Blueberry Flavored Doughnut is a fun, delicious way to savor one of summer’s sweetest moments while it’s here.”
Rather than simply using a fruit topping, Krispy Kreme has gone one step further by infusing the dough with blueberry flavor. Each doughnut is finished with the chain’s signature glaze, adding the perfect amount of sweetness to every bite.
On Facebook, Krispy Kreme shared a video of the new doughnuts being made, and fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement.
“FINALLY. I’ve been begging y’all for blueberry glazed,” wrote one user. “These right here blow Dunkin’ right outta the park, and they be warm too,” said another. “I’m so happy,” shared a third.
Krispy Kreme’s new Original Glazed Blueberry Flavored Doughnuts will be available in-shop and can be ordered for delivery or pickup through the Krispy Kreme app and website. Before checking out, you can add the promo code BLUEBERRY to snag a dozen blueberry doughnuts for just $5 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.
To ensure you don’t miss out on this limited-time flavor, you can also preorder. If you don’t see the option on the website right away, double-check that you’ve selected a location. Then, you’ll see a preorder tab near the top navigation bar. From there, you can add the doughnuts to your cart and schedule a pickup or delivery.
