Kai Trump poked fun at herself after missing what looked like a couple of straightforward putts.
This past weekend, Trump, the 19-year-old up-and-coming golf talent, appeared at Fanatics Fest among a stellar lineup of attendees. The event coincided with the ESPYs, with both taking place within roughly 15 to 20 minutes of each other in New York.
Due to the venues being so close together, Trump was present at both events, sharing her surprise after being named "best dressed." after a drastic change to her appearance. The teen documented her weekend, which kicked off at the ESPYs, included a segment on Fox and Friends, and wrapped up with a visit to Fanatics Fest, after recently showing behind the scenes access of an incredible trip.

In a clip shared recently, Trump found herself at a putting green, snapping pictures with Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin. She also crossed paths with former NFL standout Rob Gronkowski and Las Vegas Raiders starting quarterback Fernando Mendoza during the gathering.
Positioned on a green that displayed the ideal line to the cup, the teenager grabbed a TaylorMade putter and took her shot. On her initial try, the 19 year old struck the ball marginally too firmly and to the left, missing the hole completely.
On her second effort, she didn't hit it hard enough, leaving it mere inches shy of the target. Glancing toward the camera with a grin, she simply declared: "I'm washed."
Her third attempt in the video saw her fall short once again, though she kept a positive demeanor throughout, smiling as she pushed through each missed putt.
Her next effort looked promising, but the ball came to rest just a hair's breadth from the cup, stopping mere millimeters from dropping in.
Given one final opportunity to sink a putt, this time using a golden ball, the ball once again drifted off to the left at the critical moment, resulting in another miss.
Trump then remarked, "Next time, next time," as she wrapped up that segment of the video. The 19 year old found her redemption, however, when she went head-to-head with comedian Kevin Hart.
With the pair facing off, Trump was challenged to replicate one of her previously missed putts. Taking a brief moment to collect herself, she coolly and confidently nailed a lengthy putt, before seizing the opportunity to take a lighthearted dig at Hart.
Spotting Hart in the crowd, she sauntered over and cheekily asked, "Wait, what were you saying?".
The president's granddaughter then took a playful swipe at his height, exclaiming, "I can't hear you from up here, I can't hear you from up here!".
Elsewhere in the video, the 19 year old revealed that she steers well clear of politics, admitting it is "just not my thing.
"I just like showing my life and showing how, you know, you can still be an athlete and you can still do a ton of other things, enjoy a ton of other things. So I just kind of like just showing people that everything's possible. And I love just showing the new generation my, like, progress I guess through college eventually, but obviously how I got to where I am today," she explained at a red carpet event.
