Just last week, on Fox News' evening program, The Five, the 48-year-old TV personality received criticism after making light of American troops potentially becoming "wild animals" around women if administered testosterone injections. Watters joked that the increase in testosterone would lead to an increase in sexual assault.
Watters has always made strange and even disturbing comments about women of all ages, from high school girls to Martha Stewart. However, the host doesn't seem to face any repercussions for his remarks, whether they're about women or not.

While Fox News appears to let Watters' behavior slide, some of his co-hosts have clapped back at his off-the-cuff comments. Meanwhile, viewers have continued to share their disdain for him, calling him disgusting for some of his more sexual comments aimed at women.

During the July 16, 2026, episode of Fox News' The Five, made light of American troops potentially becoming "wild animals" around women if administered testosterone injections. Watters delivered the remarks during a segment about the potential use of testosterone to address service members experiencing low levels of the hormone, which can lead to reduced endurance and muscle loss. However, Watters joked that the increase in testosterone would lead to an increase in sexual assault. "He says you lose your endurance, muscle mass," Watters said of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who is spearheading the program.
"So yeah, I want these guys on it, but you know what's going to happen?" He went on to suggest that troops who didn't require the treatment would still seek it out. "The guys that don't need it are going to take it. It's a triple boost, right?" Watters said. He then cautioned women on military bases and in countries visited by U.S. troops to "be careful." He said, "And then they're going to get out there and women on base, you guys better be careful. Port calls, women in Asia, you better be careful because these guys are going to be wild animals, and you better watch out."
During the March 6, 2024, episode of Fox News' The Five, Jesse Watters and his co-hosts discussed the photograph V-J Day in Times Square, which was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt. The photo portrays a U.S. Navy sailor kissing a total stranger, a nurse, after grabbing her on Victory over Japan Day ("V-J Day") in New York City's Times Square on August 14, 1945. Watters slammed the "woke" for claiming the kiss was non-consensual. He said, "How do they know that's non-consensual? To me, that woman looks like she wants it. And she wants it bad."
On April 11, 2022, during an episode of Fox News' The Five, Jesse Watters and his co-hosts were discussing climate activists urging people to deflate SUV tires. However, Watters came out with a strange comment about his wife. "It can be convincing. When I was trying to get Emma to date me, first thing I did, I let the air out of her tires.
