The Gist

  • Jenna Bush Hager shared rare photos of her youngest child during a family day at the 2026 World Cup Final with her husband Henry Hager.
  • Hal Hager, 6, showed off his long blonde hair in a blue-and-white jersey.
  • Bush Hager is also mom to daughters Mila, 13, and Poppy, 10.

Jenna Bush Hager joined the star-studded attendees at the 2026 World Cup Final on June 19 with two rarely-seen special guests: Her husband Henry Hager and the couple’s youngest child, Hal. The 6-year-old was the most adorable soccer fan as he cheered on Lionel Messi during the final match between Argentina and Spain.

“Came for Messi (And Hal Hager!). Stayed for Lachlan Ramsay. If you know you know #abbyoffsides,” Bush Hager captioned a family game day photo dump posted on July 20, cheekily referencing soccer rom-com novel Abby Offsides.

Argentina ultimately lost to Spain on Sunday, but Hal could be seen swapping out his red-and-white striped soccer jersey for a long blue-and-white striped alternative as he chatted with fellow attendees, shimmied from side to side like a soccer player, and struck a pose next to a large World Cup final billboard. Showing off his long blonde hair, the toddler paired his new jersey with navy blue shirts and a pair of white tennis shoes.

Bush Hager posed with her son and her husband in front of MetLife Stadium wearing a black sleeveless turtleneck top, which she contrasted with a brown, blue, and cream paisley-printed floral miniskirt cinched with a matching belt at the waist. The mom-of-three finished off her look with white tennis shoes, black sunglasses, and her now-signature blonde bob.

The Today show host—who also shares daughters Mila, 13, and Poppy, 10, with Hager—previously revealed that Hal isn’t her only kid with a love of sports. During an April 24, episode of Today with Jenna and Sheinelle, Bush Hager admitted that she got “frozen out” by her eldest daughter after some over-the-top heckling during her volleyball games.

“I’ve gotten kicked out by my child. Well, I didn’t get kicked out, like, removed immediately. I got put into a free zone. I was watching her [play] volleyball. I love cheering. I love to cheer...but I also love heckling,” she explained.

After she got a little bit too worked up during one part of the game, the TV personality recalled her daughter looking at her with an expression of disgust. “Afterwards, I was frozen out. I went to one volleyball game this year,” she said.

However, Bush Hager said she’s manifesting Mila changing her mind for the next season, revealing that she’s learned her lesson from the incident. “I think I’m gonna be unfrozen for next year,” she added. “I’m just not gonna try to be the center of attention.”
