In May, Page Six Hollywood exclusively reported that the "Euphoria" star was out of the running to be a juror.

Jacob Elordi finally revealed the gnarly injury that kept him from being a Cannes Film Festival juror.

“I broke both my heels earlier this year. I jumped off something,” he told his “Euphoria” co-star Colman Domingo, who was the guest host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night.

“But it’s like ‘Fight Club,'” he quipped, referencing the movie’s motto, “You do not talk about fight club.”

The actor explained that his accident happened around the same time Season 3 of “Euphoria” aired, leading fans to believe that his cast was part of him promoting his role as Nate Jacobs.

“I was in a cast and a moon boot the same time that Nate was getting his digits cut off. So everyone thought it was hilarious to be like, ‘Oh method acting!'”

During the last season of the HBO show, Nate is brutally beaten and maimed by Armenian businessman Naz (Jack Topalian), who cuts off multiple of Nate’s toes before ultimately killing him.

“There’s a cutting of a particular body part that my character takes great pleasure in doing,” Topalian exclusively told Page Six in April, adding that they used a “prosthetic” toe for Elordi.

“The clippers that they gave me have pretty sharp edges. So I had to be really mindful of that, because at one point, I do put it around Jake’s toe.”

“If I squeezed a little too hard, it would literally cut his toe. But everything turned out well! There were no mishaps, no accidents,” he explained.
