Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has filed to legally drop “Pitt” from her last name.

Viivienne, 18, submitted paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court requesting that her legal name be changed from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.

Marcheline Bertrand is the name of Jolie’s late mom, who died in 2007 after a battle with ovarian and breast cancer.

In court docs obtained by Page Six, Vivienne lists the reason as “personal.”

Amid the filing, a source exclusively told Page Six, “This is what complete and total parental alienation looks like — it’s awful, deliberate and unnecessary, only serving the interest of the parent feeling some perverse pleasure at excluding another caring parent from her children’s lives.”

A source previously told Page Six, “If Brad isn’t close to the kids, it’s because of the harm that was done. The children are now adults and make their own decisions, which deserve respect. If they choose to distance themselves from him, it comes from that pain and harm.”

The filings mark the latest development in the years-long family rift that has unfolded since Pitt and Jolie’s highly publicized split in 2016.

The “Fight Club” star, 62, and the “Maleficent” actress, 51, finalized their divorce in December 2024, ending more than eight years of legal proceedings after Jolie filed to dissolve their marriage in September 2016.

The former couple share six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Several of the siblings have already taken similar steps.

Shiloh successfully petitioned a Los Angeles court in May 2024 to remove “Pitt” from her last name shortly after turning 18.

Maddox also filed legal paperwork in May 2026 seeking to drop “Pitt” from his surname, citing personal reasons in court documents.

Prior to filing, he had already begun using “Maddox Jolie” professionally, including in the credits for the film “Couture,” on which he worked as an assistant director while his mother starred.

On June 9, Zahara filed paperwork requesting to legally change her name from Zahara Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Jolie.

Knox had also appeared to distance himself from the Pitt surname before his twin’s filing.

As Page Six exclusively reported in June, the teenager used the name “Knox Jolie” on his high school diploma after graduating from Fusion Academy in Los Angeles.

A source told Page Six at the time that Knox celebrated the milestone alongside Jolie, his older siblings Pax and Zahara, and his twin sister, Vivienne.

Vivienne similarly dropped her father’s last name publicly in May 2024 when she was credited as “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for the Broadway production of “The Outsiders,” which she helped her mother produce.

Meanwhile, Pax remains close with members of the “F1” star’s extended family despite having a strained relationship with the Oscar winner.

“Pax still has a relationship with his dad’s side of the family and continues to spend time with them,” a source exclusively told Page Six last month. “He recently joined his family as they went out to dinner and celebrated his cousin Sydney’s engagement to Archimede Jerome.”

According to the insider, Pitt’s sister, Julie Pitt Neal, also attended the gathering, along with his niece Reagan Pitt and numerous other relatives.

However, a second source told Page Six that while Pax “still has a relationship” with his paternal relatives, he “doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad.”

Representatives for Pitt and Jolie did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
