Looks like Olivia Rodrigo might be done dating creative types. Less than a year after she and British actor Louis Partridge reportedly parted ways, the singer was spotted at the airport with a very tall new guy who appears to be, of all things, a private-equity associate.

,

Per “Page Six,” Rodrigo and the mystery man have been spotted multiple times around Brooklyn, and on Monday, photos of the duo surfaced as they were spotted seemingly traveling from Iceland to New York. Are those matching hats I spy? Anyway, the Daily Mail claims her travel buddy is Julian Croonenberghs, who, according to his LinkedIn, works at the private-equity firm Hg Capital and was previously a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs — what we in New York call a “finance bro.” Per Just Jared, Rodrigo recently liked an Instagram post from Croonenberghs’s sister.

Listen, I’m not here to judge. This is typically the advice every woman receives after dating a string of messy artists (in Rodrigo’s case, that’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star Joshua Bassett, followed by music executive and DJ Zack Bia and producer Adam Faze, and House of Guinness’s Partridge after that). I can see the appeal of a man who studied applied mathematics at Brown University, speaks Dutch and French, and played for the U.S. men’s national field hockey team from 2018 to 2020. Still, something tells me he might not pass the “Will he go to space?” test.
