Iowa high school state softball tournament 2026: Scores, brackets

On Monday, the Iowa high school state softball tournament kicks off, with 40 total teams vying for the title of state champion across Iowa's five classes. Play for all five classes will run from July 20-24 in Fort Dodge.

The tournament has moved to a new double-elimination format for the 2026 season, meaning each team will get a minimum of two games played this week.
