The Greenhouse is a type of building in Moonlight Peaks that allows players to safely grow crops of any season all year round.
However, the Greenhouse is not available by default at the Howling Hammer shop, and players have to perform certain actions before they’ll be able to unlock the ability to buy it from Ridge. Here’s the breakdown.
How to Unlock Greenhouse in Moonlight Peaks
In Moonlight Peaks, the Greenhouse is a reward for achieving 80% Museum completion progress. The Museum is a special building in town where you can submit items and artifacts obtainable in the game in exchange for rewards. This building unlocks after you complete the "Curating the Museum" story quest.
When you reach 80% progress in the Museum, Jada will stop you at the reception area and tell you that Ridge came by and told her that he was inspired by the farming room in the Museum to come up with a new building idea: the Greenhouse.
The next time you enter the Howling Hammer, a cutscene will play out where you’ll see Luna asking Ridge about the possibility of installing the Greenhouse at her farm.
After the cutscene plays out, talk to Ridge and select the “I want to buy something” option. Look under the Buildings tab, and you’ll find the Greenhouse listed for 50,000 Coins.

Greenhouse Explained
The Greenhouse’s purpose is to allow players to grow off-season crops year-round. This means that you can plant and grow any crop in the game as long as you have the seeds and empty space in the Greenhouse for planting.
For example, Wild Potatoes only grow during Spring. If you plant a Wild Potato in Spring and the season changes before the crop is ready for harvest, it will be destroyed as soon as Summer arrives. If you try to plant any Wild Potato in Summer, Autumn, or Winter, the game will say, “This won’t grow in this season.”
However, if you have a Greenhouse, you’ll be able to plant Wild Potatoes even in Winter, as if it were Spring all year round. This mechanic is especially helpful for crops with long growth cycles and for maintaining a consistent output of your favorite or most lucrative crop without any downtime.
