The Way Home fans, we know Andie MacDowell’s next gig on Hallmark.
The hit drama ended after four seasons in June, and fans have been hoping to see the actress back on their TV screens. Fortunately, Hallmark just teased Andie’s next role in a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it moment on Instagram.
As the network gears up for its 2026 “Countdown to Christmas” event, fans got to see a preview of the new movie A Grand Biltmore Christmas. A sequel to the 2023 film A Biltmore Christmas, the movie will show Andie alongside Holland Roden and Niall Matter.
“A love story more than 100 years in the making. 🕰️,” the caption read alongside the first look of A Grand Biltmore Christmas on Instagram. “Don't miss Holland Roden and Niall Matter in #AGrandBiltmoreChristmas, premiering this Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark Channel. Even though Andie’s cameo is only a second, fans were ecstatic to see her in a Hallmark holiday movie.
“Time travel, Christmas, and Andie McDowell? Yes please! 😍❤️,” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Andie McDowell time traveling again! Beautiful actress,” another penned. “Watching for Andie!” a different follower added.
According to Hallmark’s website, the movie follows a teenage girl who forms a connection with a boy her age who is trespassing at the Biltmore House in 1895. When the duo meets again 20 years later, an hourglass in the Biltmore library magically transports them to life in the 21st century. As they experience 2026, they must decide whether to return to their former lives or build new lives for themselves in the present.
Hallmark is keeping Andie’s role in A Grand Biltmore Christmas on the DL for now. But we can’t wait to watch this!
