It may still be summer, but Hallmark is already getting people excited for the holidays.
The network is famous for its romantic holiday movies, and fans love tuning in to its “Countdown to Christmas” every year. While there’s still some time before we get all the magic of the most wonderful time of the year, Hallmark surprised fans with an exciting preview of what’s to come in 2026!
Thanks to a video posted on Instagram, viewers got to see sneak peeks of upcoming new movies like The Nights Before Christmas (starring Tyler Hynes), Christmas in Blue Dog Valley (starring Andrew Walker), A Grand Biltmore Christmas (starring Holland Roden, Niall Matter, and Andie MacDowell), and plenty more.
“First look at what's in store this #CountdownToChristmas 🎄,” the caption read on July 3. “Get ready for heartwarming stories, festive cheer, and plenty of holiday romance! ❄️.”
As expected, fans were thrilled by the first look.
“Oh I can't wait to watch every single one of these movies,” one person wrote in the comments. “What a great lineup! Can we start airing today? I could use some Christmas magic in my life 🎄💜💜💜,” another asked. “How exciting!!! Countdown to Christmas 2026 is going to be amazing!!!🎄✨❤️,” a different follower added.
Naturally, Hallmark can’t give away all the details about what’s to come for “Countdown to Christmas.” But we do know that the network is heavily promoting the new Lacey Chabert film, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.
That film got its own first look on Instagram.
