Summer vacation season is still in full swing, but it’s not too early to start thinking about a fall getaway, especially if you want a good deal.
Enter: Delta Air Lines, which just launched a suite of travel deals and offers to earn bonus miles aimed at bookings for early fall trips.
The sale, called the “Beyond Summer Event,” kicked off on July 21, but many of the deals and offers will only last several days.
Here’s a look at all of the travel offers that just launched as part of the event.
SkyMiles Members Can Earn Double Miles on Certain Delta Flights
Delta has launched a 72-hour promotion to allow eligible SkyMiles members to earn double miles on specific flight routes. Travelers must enroll and book a Delta Classic or Delta Main Extra fare on one of the qualifying flights that are part of the carrier’s promotion. (Search the eligible flight routes on Delta’s dedicated deal page.) To be eligible for the offer, flights must be booked by July 23, 2026. Travel dates for the eligible itineraries range from late August to late November, and destinations include Seoul, Honolulu, Sydney, Auckland, Rome, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Cancun, Punta Cana, and more.
Save on Delta Vacations Packages
Through August 6, SkyMiles members can save up to $275 on worldwide Delta Vacations flight and hotel packages of $5,000 or more. A minimum three-night stay is required, and the discount depends on travelers’ elite status with Delta. (In order to save the full $275, travelers must have Diamond Medallion status with the airline.) Travel must take place by December 31, 2026. Delta Vacations bookings also earn MQDs toward elite status.
Earn Bonus Miles on Delta Stays
SkyMiles members can also earn 4X miles per dollar on eligible hotel bookings made on Delta’s portal through August 6. Members will also be granted VIP Access Benefits during their stays, which include perks like room upgrades or food and beverage credits. As part of its expanded partnership with Airbnb, Delta is offering SkyMiles members the chance to earn 3 miles per dollar and receive a one-time bonus of 2,000 miles after completing a qualifying Airbnb Experience or Service of at least $50. Travel for both deals must be completed by March 31, 2027.
Up Your Mileage Balance With Rental Cars, Cruises, Gift Cards, and Shopping
The Beyond Summer Event also includes chances to earn bonus SkyMiles through rental car and cruise bookings, as well as purchasing Delta gift cards and using the airline’s shopping portal.
Bookings with Delta Cars made through August 6, 2026, for travel through March 31, 2027, can earn SkyMiles members:
- Up to 16X miles per dollar with Hertz, depending on Medallion Status
- 8X miles per dollar with Dollar and Thrifty
- 4X miles per dollar with participating partners including Alamo, Enterprise, National, Avis, Budget, Payless and SIXT
Bookings with Delta Cruises made through August 6, 2026, for sailings departing before December 31, 2027, can earn SkyMiles members:
- 3X miles per eligible dollar on interior and oceanview staterooms
- 4X miles per eligible dollar on balcony and suite staterooms
Purchases of Delta gift cards of $300 or more made through August 6, 2026, can earn SkyMiles members:
- SkyMiles Members: 2X miles per dollar
- Silver Medallion Members: 3X miles per dollar
- Gold Medallion Members: 4X miles per dollar
- Platinum and Diamond Medallion Members: 5X miles per dollar
Through August 10, 2026, SkyMiles members can earn up to 2,000 bonus miles on purchases made through SkyMiles Shopping.
