Spain topped Argentina, 1-0, in the Men's Final at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday. The game was tied, 0-0, after 90 minutes, before Spain scored the game-winning goal in extra time. Lionel Messi and Co. were unable to win back-to-back World Cups.

The World Cup Final was full of celebrities, with several big-time names in attendance, including Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Pharrell, ASAP Rocky, Rihanna, Livvy Dunne, Tom Brady and even President Trump watching the game in person.

But Gayle King of CBS fame was named the "worst dressed" celebrity at the World Cup Final on Sunday.

The journalist wore a "frumpy" all-white outfit, getting the top spot on the Daily Mail's list of the worst-dressed celebrities.

Gayle King's all-white outfit tops the list

The Daily Mail was not impressed with her all-white outfit, which can be seen here.

"Gayle King led the worst dressed list at the World Cup final, as she was spotted wearing a frumpy white outfit. The TV star, 71, opted for a tight white tank top, which left her toned shoulders and slim figure on full display. But she paired it with some wrinkled white sweatpants, which weren't the most flattering. She completed the look with some sneakers and a silver purse - but overall, her outfit was boring and dowdy," they wrote.

It was a hot and muggy day in New Jersey, though, so perhaps the TV star just opted for comfort over everything else.

The 2030 World Cup is now four years away, as Netflix is reportedly making a big push for the TV rights as we head into the next global soccer tournament.
