Florida State wide receiver Duce Robinson is receiving national recognition for his work away from the football field. Robinson was named one of 175 nominees for the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, an honor that recognizes college football student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional leadership through community service, academic achievement and their impact off the field.
The senior wide receiver has become one of Florida State's most active ambassadors in the Tallahassee community. Robinson has volunteered with Next Level Flag Football, helping introduce young athletes to the game while mentoring children through seventh grade.
He also represented Florida State during FSU Day at the Capitol, participated in Literacy Week at Astoria Park Elementary School and joined the Keep Climbing Family Foundation for a winter coat drive benefiting local families. Last Thanksgiving, Robinson partnered with Legends Hospitality and former Seminole Micah Pettus to help distribute turkeys throughout the community.
His commitment to service was previously recognized following the 2025 season when he received Florida State's Bill McGrotha Award, presented annually to the Seminole football player who exemplifies humanitarian service. Robinson has continued to expand those efforts this offseason and is set to host the Duce Robinson Charity Pickleball Classic on July 23, with proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Florida, a cause he has supported since high school.
The Good Works Team, established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, celebrates players who use their platform to make a meaningful difference beyond the playing field. Nominees are evaluated on their commitment to volunteerism, leadership and community impact in addition to their accomplishments in football and the classroom. The final team, which includes 22 student-athletes and one honorary head coach, will be announced in September.
Robinson is looking to become the 10th Florida State player selected to the Good Works Team and the second consecutive Seminole to earn the distinction after offensive lineman Richie Leonard IV was named to the team following the 2025 season. Previous Florida State recipients include Dillan Gibbons, Camren McDonald, Mavin Saunders, Alec Eberle, Christian Ponder, Sam Cowart, Wayne Messam, and Corey Fuller.
