The Binghamton Farmers Market and Levene Gouldin & Thompson LLP are bringing back Market Greens, a voucher program that provides free funding for fresh food purchases at the community market.
The partnership marks the second consecutive year of the program, according to a community announcement. Market Greens offers $10 vouchers that can be redeemed for fresh food and ready-to-eat meals from participating farmers and vendors at the Binghamton Farmers Market.
Visitors may receive up to two vouchers per visit. The program is available to anyone who attends the market and does not require an application or documentation.
Organizers said the initiative is intended to help address food insecurity while supporting local farmers and small businesses. According to the announcement, participants can select food that best meets their needs while connecting directly with growers and vendors.
The Binghamton Farmers Market is held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays at Recreation Park in Binghamton. Vouchers are available by request at the market manager tent or by emailing [email protected].

Organizers said the vouchers can be used directly with local vendors, helping increase access to fresh food while also generating sales for market businesses.
The Levene Gouldin & Thompson marketing team highlighted the firm's interest in supporting both food access and local agriculture through the initiative.
