Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the final trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is set to hit theaters on Jul. 31. The first minute of the latest preview is mostly composed of scenes from the previous three films in the franchise, ending with the promise Peter Parker makes to MJ (Zendaya) in No Way Home. Then, the trailer quickly transitions to the street fight between Spider-Man and Scorpion, before the former takes on an out-of-control Hulk in a skyscraper. The main villain is still seemingly shrouded in mystery, but it is safe to say that Spidey has his hands full this time around.
Brand New Day follows Peter Parker in the aftermath of the events of No Way Home, which left the world without the memory of his existence. Now, he is solely focused on his superhero career, but his spider mutation begins to evolve, giving him new powers that manifest in organic webbing and completely transformed eyes. Faced with numerous enemies, including one which only he can sense, it is up to him to fight them all, with some help from fellow vigilante Punisher (Jon Bernthal).
The arrival of Spider-Man: Brand New Day comes off the heels of the recently released trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. While Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is not expected to appear, it is speculated that Brand New Day will somehow lead into the upcoming event film. No matter the case, the widespread excitement for both projects has become overwhelmingly clear, with the fourth Spider-Man MCU installment already generating record-breaking box office projections ahead of its Jul. 31 theatrical release. Brand New Day is currently projected to open with $230-million to $250-million during its domestic opening weekend.

Of course, it is heavily theorized that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is set to make her MCU debut as X-Men member Jean Grey. Nevertheless, she is confirmed to form part of the cast for Avengers: Secret Wars, which may be the most telling point of all.
