The Indiana Fever will play their final game on Wednesday before the upcoming All-Star break. They will host the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as they look to make it three straight wins. The Fever then get five days off before they resume their campaign with a road matchup against the Seattle Storm on July 28.

Head coach Stephanie White is demanding focus from her players. She does not want them to fall into the trap of overlooking the Sun game on Wednesday as they look forward to a much-needed mid-season break.

Caitlin Clark is expected to play against the Sun. However, the Fever will be without Damiris Dantas.

Indiana Fever injury report: Caitlin Clark probable, Damiris Dantas out

The Fever have submitted their injury report for Wednesday’s game, and there are two players on the list.

Clark remains on the injury report with a back issue. She is probable to play, which means that she should be good to go. Clark has been a regular on the injury report ever since she missed a game because of this issue on May 20.

While Clark is expected to take the floor against the Sun, Indiana will be without veteran center-forward Damiris Dantas. The 33-year-old is dealing with a left knee injury and has officially been ruled out for Wednesday’s game.

Dantas has been in and out of the rotation for Coach White. The 6-foot-4 frontcourt player has made 12 appearances for Indiana this season, averaging 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 8.2 minutes per contest.

The Fever are 16-10 heading into the Sun game. They remain sixth in the standings and are tied with the Atlanta Dream with the same record.
