INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Our early taste of fall will continue for the rest of the week. Warmer & more humid air is coming back for the weekend.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
Mostly clear & comfortably cool with lows in the mid to low 50s. Open up your windows if you can and give the AC a break! It'll be a great night for star gazing across Indiana.
THURSDAY:
Partly cloudy & pleasant. Highs in the upper 70s are expected.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Stars & clouds. Comfortable lows in the upper 50s to around 60.
FRIDAY:
Partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the upper 70s to around 80. There is just a small chance of a shower across parts of far SW Indiana.
SATURDAY:
Partly cloudy skies with warmer temperatures in the 80s. It'll become a bit more humid with dew point values climbing back into the 60s. Weather looks good for the Pennzoil 250 at IMS and the Indy Eleven match in the evening.
SUNDAY:
Variably cloudy, warm, & a lot more humid. Highs may push back into the low 90s with heat indicies pushing close to 100° again in spots. While there may be a few spotty showers & storms around in the afternoon, most of Central Indiana should remain dry. Few issues are expected for the Brickyard 400 at IMS, but check back in for updates.
NEXT WEEK:
Warm & muggy conditions continue for Monday & Tuesday along with the chance of a few showers & storms.
