Eric eviscerates Logan and the Spencers in a livestream interview [recap]

On today’s The Bold and the Beautifulrecap:

Eric’s Couture Livestream Debuts!

The energy is high at Forrester Creations with the exclusive livestream coming soon. Ridge misses all the people associated with a regular fashion show but is glad to avoid Katie, Hope and all the liars at Logan.

A frantic Electra is rattled about the jewelry line as RJ does his best to calm her nerves. He asks what else is going on and Electra tells him about Will and Eric from the night before. RJ reminds her what a big day it is today and says they should head over to watch the livestream which will let the Logan crew Forrester Creations is back.

The Forrester Crew is ready to start the show, and Ridge says they are about to show everyone how this thing is done.

The Logan crew is waiting at their headquarters for the Forrester couture show. Liam thinks they have to be scrambling after Hope’s debut and the Hope For The Future diamond. Sad sack Will says that diamond cost him Electra. Everyone gets uncomfortable and Bill tells his son he has to get out of this funk.

The Forrester and Logan crews sit down to watch the couture livestream. The Forresters trip over themselves complimenting Eric’s designs and Electra’s jewelry. Steffy says online engagement is on point as evidenced by Eric Forrester trending worldwide. The Logans are impressed with their designs, but Bill and Katie note how the Logan debut made the Forresters rethink their entire show as they know they have real competition.

Bill is certain the Forrester show will be a big mess, but both Katie and Hope think they will pull out all the stops for Eric’s return. Bill says it won’t be enough to show up Logan which will be a failure for the Forrester crew.

Finn Informs Sheila She Is Shut Out of His Life on The Bold and the Beautiful

Finn is in his office when Sheila arrives on the scene. She has been waiting on news about Steffy’s reaction to her returning to his life. They go back and forth a bit before Finn definitively says he can’t see her anymore. Sheila asks him to reconsider and says she would prefer spending time with the entire family but is fine if it’s just with him. Finn says there is no chance as Steffy will always believe she’s a threat.

Taylor and Deacon meet up at Bikini celebrating Sheila signing the divorce papers. She wants to watch the livestream, but Deacon says they are a house divided on this issue as he is squarely on Team Logan and her on Team Forrester.

Eric Takes The Bait and Eviscerates Logan and The Spencers Live on The Air!

After the show, Eric is interviewed by a reporter in the Forrester main office. The reporter asks about the choice of a livestream for his return to the company he founded. Taylor and Deacon are watching and note how Eric is being baited. Back in the interview, the reporter goes on about his time at Logan and asks whether he intended his designs to show up on their runway. Eric stops her saying he is speaking with her to promote his new couture line and nothing else. He doesn’t allow her to continue going into what a privilege or was to design this collection with the entire design team. He brings up the jewelry line and how it incorporated with the designs beautifully allowing Forrester to set themselves apart. The reporter jumps on the opportunity asking if he’s talking about being different from Logan. Eric confirms and then gets angry saying he doesn’t want to talk about the rival fashion house. He then proceeds to do just that by saying Logan jumped them in line and tried to steal their thunder. Eric can’t stop himself and says “she” stole her niece from Forrester almost destroyed her sister in the process. He says Katie has always been a kind and loving person but is now as dark and evil as Bill Spencer.

Ridge joins Eric as he calls Logan a cheap knockoff brand like Spectra back in the day. He says what they’ve been doing is absolute thievery and is driving him crazy. He goes after Hope and Katie for stabbing them in the back before turning his attention to the money-grabbing, egomaniacal Bill Spencer and his hot-headed son. With that, Ridge pulls Eric off camera and Steffy says the interview is over. The reporter concludes the interview by saying the war between Forrester and Logan continues.
