Dolphins free agent was told he might not walk again after injury

In Week 4 of the 2025 season, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL, in a matchup with the division-rival New York Jets.

Hill missed the remainder of the season and with the Dolphins going through a rebuild with a new head coach and general manager, they released the eight-time Pro Bowler and one-time Super Bowl champion in February.

While Hill has yet to find a new home for the 2026 season, the 32-year-old has been sharing videos of his recovery and rehabilitation process throughout the offseason, and the most recent video dropped this week.

In this video, Hill is 10 months out from the injury and reveals that he was told that he may not be able to walk again. He also stated that he still doesn't have any power that he once did in his left leg, and he's trying to get back there.

If Hill still has no power in his left leg at this point, it seems unlikely that he'll be ready to go for the start of the 2026 season. However, if he continues rehabbing and progressing, he could catch on with a team on a one-year deal for the veteran minimum at some point.
