Disney's Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 release date reportedly revealed

Percy Jackson Is Officially Coming To Netflix Next Month Ahead Of Disney+'s Season 3 & It's A Must-Watch
Disney's Percy Jackson And The Olympians Season 3 Release Date Reportedly Revealed

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 is on the way, and the premiere date for the Disney+ original's return has reportedly been revealed.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ season 3 premiere date on Disney+ has reportedly been set.

Since premiering in December 2023, Percy Jackson and the Olympians has become one of Disney+’s most popular shows. The small screen adaptation of Rick Riordan’s fantasy book series was renewed for season 2 two months after season 1 dropped, and season 3 was officially ordered nine months before the season 2 premiere. Now word has come in on when the next batch of Percy Jackson and the Olympians episodes will allegedly come out.

TV Insider reports that Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 will arrive on Friday, November 20. However, this is not a date that’s been confirmed by Disney+ yet. If this is correct, this will be the first Percy Jackson series not to premiere during the month of December. Furthermore, if season 3 follows in its predecessors’ footsteps by being comprised of eight episodes, as well as releases its first two episodes on the same day, then that would mean the season 3 finale airs on Friday, January 1, 2027.

Despite this Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 premiere date not being official, the next season was teased to be coming out in 2026 at the end of the season 2 finale. It’s among several Disney+ original series lined up to return or premiere in the coming months. Others include Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, VisionQuest, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2.

Big things were set up in Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2’s ending. Though Camp Half-Blood was saved, the Golden Fleece’s magic used to keep the barriers up also resulted in Thalia’s tree being renewed. This, in turn, caused her human body to be reformed. Zeus and Posideon also cameoed at the end of "The Fleece Works Its Magic Too Well” in one of Percy’s dreams and a flashback, respectively, and one of the post-credits scenes depicted Circe honoring Percy and Annabeth for passing the trial of the Sirens.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Riordan’s series. This is the first time this story has received a screen adaptation, as the Percy Jackson movies only covered the first two books. Writing on season 3 began in late February 2025, and production unfolded from the beginning of last August to mid-March.

Along with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, continuing to lead Percy Jackson and the Olympians, amongst other returning faces, the lineup of season 3 newcomers includes Dafne Keen, Saara Chaudry, Kate McKinnon, Ming-Na Wen, Jennifer Beals, and Hubert Smielecki. Behind the scenes, Jonathan E. Steinberg, Dan Shotz, and Craig Silverstein continue to serve as showrunners, and Riordan executive produces the show with the aforementioned three men and many others.

As the wait continues for Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3’s official release date to be announced, there will also be a panel for the Disney+ series held at San Diego Comic-Con in Hall H on Thursday, July 23 at 10 a.m. PT.
