Julie Andrews is getting the documentary treatment.
Disney+ has greenlit a doc about the Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music star from R.J. Cutler, the man behind Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry and Martha.
The film, which will premiere in 2027, will look at Andrews' life from her early days in British vaudeville to becoming a Hollywood star. It will include rare, never-before-seen archival footage and new interviews with the star, who also featured in The Princess Diaries.
More recently, Andrews voiced Lady Whistledown in Netflix series Bridgerton.
It is produced by Cutler's Sony-backed production company This Machine and Cutler, who has also directed docs including The War Room and The September Issue, will produce alongside Trevor Smith, Elise Pearlstein, Jane Cha Cutler and Jonathan Ruane. Mark Blatty serves as executive producer.
