The newest Days of Our Lives spoilers of the next two weeks open on a gut-punch: Gwen Rizczech is snatched by a masked man in the park, and Salem has no clue who did it. That is the cruel part, because the timing could not be worse for the two people she just torched. Gwen blew the whistle on Xander Kiriakis and his secret fling with Kristen DiMera, and now the one woman holding that grenade has conveniently disappeared.

He also pulls Rita Lesley aside with a problem he cannot say out loud.

The show is not saying yet, and that silence is doing a lot of work. The masked man who grabbed Gwen has no face and no name on-screen, which leaves the field wide open. Our Money Is On The Woman Everyone Underestimates
Salem wants us glued to the masked-man mystery, but our gut keeps circling back to Gwen herself. She just proved she will burn the whole town down to make a point, and a staged disappearance would be the pettiest, most delicious revenge on Xander we could ask for.
