In recent years, it's become more and more common for championship sports teams to skip out on visiting the White House.

While several sports teams have still chosen to visit the White House, whether Joe Biden or Donald J. Trump was in office, there have been multiple occasions of teams - or at least individual athletes - choosing to skip out on the opportunity.

This doesn't always sit well with people, though.

UFC President Dana White is among those to speak out on teams and athletes skipping out on the White House visits. White, who considers himself a close friend and supporter of President Trump, is speaking out in a big way.

Dana White made it clear that pro sports and college sports teams that choose to skip out on White House visits are making a mistake.

The UFC president didn't hold back his thoughts.

Dana White issues harsh message to teams who skip visits

White appeared on The Pivot Podcast and didn't hold back.

“I don’t understand these teams that didn’t want to go to the White House. It is not about politics. Everybody knows how tight my relationship is with President Trump,” White said on The Pivot Podcast.

“It happened during the Biden administration, they say, 'He's not my President'. I have some bad news for you — if he is the President of the United States, he is your president.

“I respect the position, no matter who it is. You’re never going to agree with 100 percent of a president’s politics, but the majority of Americans in this country voted this person into office.”

It'll be interesting to see if recent championship teams, like the New York Knicks, end up choosing to visit the White House.

Greg Bovino Complained About Lack of Prosecutions for Good and Pretti Killings

Prosecutors struggled to pick their jaws up off the floor on a phone call with Greg Bovino that took place between the fatal shooting of two U.S. citizens in Minnesota. “These people are wackos,” Bovino, 56, said of protesters in Minneapolis during the exchange. CNN reports that the call took place after the former Border Patrol chief’s agents had shot Renee Nicole Good, 37, dead in the street on January 7, and before they killed another...
