A modern take on a classic muscle car is headed to auction when a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring build crosses the block at the Harrisburg 2026 sale. Offered as Lot S211, the heavily modified coupe is scheduled to sell on Saturday, July 25th, and shows fewer than 1,100 miles since its comprehensive build was completed.

The heart of the car is a modern 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 fitted with an LT4 supercharger, giving the vintage Camaro serious contemporary power. The engine has been further upgraded with a methanol injection system, a Texas Speed camshaft, long-tube headers, and a dual exhaust with an X-pipe. An aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans helps keep temperatures in check.
Backing the engine is an 8L90E eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, sending power through a Precision Drive driveshaft rated for 850 horsepower to a Ford 9-inch rear end with heavy-duty TCI 35-spline axles.
The chassis has been extensively reworked for handling. A TCI front subframe pairs with tubular A-arms and coilovers up front, while the rear uses a four-link setup with coilovers and a TCI torque arm. Wilwood hydroboost disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors handle stopping duties. The car rolls on 18-inch Rocket Racing wheels wrapped in wide Toyo Proxes tires.

The exterior wears a Son of a Gun Gray finish accented by custom wide-body fender flares, a cowl hood with billet hinges, a blacked-out grille and bumpers, and electric RS-style headlight covers.
Inside, the black cabin features red accents throughout, with custom TMI vinyl seats, a half roll cage, and a custom dash fitted with Dakota Digital gauges. The build also includes power windows, an Alpine touchscreen head unit, a Rockford Fosgate audio system, a back-up camera, and five-point racing-style seatbelts.
