A two-car crash Friday night resulted in the death of one driver, according to Fort Worth police.
Officers responded to a call about the fatal accident about 8:40 p.m. at E. Lancaster and Ward avenues. One of the drivers was transported from the scene to John Peter Smith Hospital, and was pronounced dead there.
The driver who died was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 57-year-old Rachel Davis.
The Fort Worth police Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
