Looksmaxxing influencer Clavicular, real name Braden Eric Peters, opened up about the practice and his unconventional methods while speaking with Sean Hannity on his podcast

Clavicular, one of the biggest names in the looksmaxxing community and online manosphere, is speculating that the movement could infiltrate the military after sharing how he used testosterone to achieve desired results.

The influencer, 20, appeared on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s podcast, Hang Out with Sean Hannity, on July 20, where he discussed his platform and the concepts promoted by looksmaxxing, which is an online subculture dedicated to maximizing physical attractiveness.

Now, after Piers Morgan questioned him on a recent meeting with Vladimir Putin, Clavicular, real name, Braden Eric Peters, addressed several parts of the controversial platform. Among the topics the two discussed was the use of Testosterone Replacement Therapy, which he admitted he had used as he started his journey, which led him to speculate about it being used in the military.

“I grew up having a home gym in my basement, so there was always soe interest in weightlifting and training, motivated by that as well as parents, so I started reading…different articles and foreign posts about how to properly train as one would being a beginner to the gym,” Clavicular said.

“And that’s sort of where I came to the conclusion that there’s no reason to train naturally. It’s a complete waste of my time when I have this mechanism I could utilize, which was the testosterone, to make the results in a much more efficient timeline. So why wouldn’t I? Just logical sense.”

Hannity then chimed in, saying, “So for example, I’ve looked into testosterone, HGH [Human Growth Hormone], peptides, I’ve studied it a lot. By the way, you study all this stuff a lot? You don’t just go, ‘Oh, I’m gonna put this in my body,’ right?”

“Correct, it’s all very intentional, and I think I was sort of ahead of the curve,” Claviulcar said. “Because I saw on X the other day, they’re putting a lot of soldiers in the U.S. Military on TRT, so who knows, we might have a department of looksmaxxing.”

Hannity then said, “I think they’re going to test everyone’s testosterone level,” leading the influencer to reply, “Oh, is that right? I know they’re experimenting with TRT and HGH in the military as well.”

Clavicular’s comment comes after Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth shared that he had plans to test the testosterone levels of service members.

“Under the supervision of our world-class medical professionals, war fighters age 30 and older are going to be tested annually as part of their periodic health assessment,” he said in a video posted to X.

The test is set to be a part of regular annual health assessments for service members 30 and older, and if the medical team recommended treatment, the individual would decide whether to receive testosterone replacement therapy.

“This initiative–it’s not about artificial enhancement; it’s about restoring and optimizing your natural capabilities, protecting your longevity, and ensuring you have the biological foundation required to sustain the fight,” Hegseth added.

Clavicular’s comments also come after the death of fellow looksmaxxing influencer Connor Murphy.

Murphy died in Thailand on July 8 after drowning, and was said to be injecting himself with gold before his death.
