Clarity Act is at the "1-yard line", Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, sending bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies higher on Tuesday.
Bessent urged Congress to pass the landmark bill before leaving for recess, Bloomberg News reported.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was 2.08% higher at $66,559 after noon on Tuesday. Ethereum (ETH-USD) was +1.00% to $1,922, and Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) was +1.62% to $0.073.
