3D Systems (DDD) shares snapped seven consecutive sessions of losses, as the stock was up 5.7% at $2.78 on Tuesday.
The 3D printing and digital manufacturing company fell over 14% in the preceding seven sessions. DDD is down about 22% over the past one month.
The stock is up 53% so far this year, compared to the broader market's (SP500) near 9% advance.
"Serial equity issuance, persistent cash burn, and looming dilution suggest further downside, with share price potentially reverting to $2 amid micro-cap weakness," pointed out a Seeking Alpha analysis.
Looking at Seeking Alpha's Quant Rating, DDD has a Buy rating with a score of 4.3 out of 5. The company received D+ in the prospect of profitability, while it got a B- in growth factor.
Seeking Alpha analysts are cautious and see the stock as a Hold.
