Caleb Wilson made it clear that after the NBA Summer League, he wasn’t going to take much time off—a signature trait of the high-profile Chicago Bulls rookie that fans have already come to love.
Speaking of fans, they will certainly get a kick out of seeing Wilson and Matas Buzelis getting a feel for one another during a preseason scrimmage in Chicago, per Ball is Life.
During the scrimmage, Wilson and Buzelis were effectively in tandem with one another. At one point, Wilson dished a lob to Buzelis, who slammed it down.
On social media, fans are taking stock of what lies ahead.

Wilson is coming off an award-winning NBA Summer League. He averaged 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Wilson shot 50% from the field and 41.9% from the 3-point line.
His physicality and athleticism fit right in with Buzelis’s emergence as an explosive talent. Wilson and Buzelis are slated to be a powerful one-two punch, particularly in transition with Wilson dishing out more lobs to Buzelis and vice versa.
