Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is fresh off of being announced as the Week 9 Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Clark was a runaway winner for the weekly award after erupting for a career-high 45 points and 10 assists in Indiana's 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm on Friday.

That isn't the only career-high the former Iowa Hawkeyes superstar is putting up, as the 24-year-olds 42.8% field goal percentage (42.8%) and 20.7 points per game are both career highs. These numbers contrasted with the 6-foot-0 guards 4.6 turnovers per game and 29.3 minutes being career-lows. The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is the reigning Player of the Month (June) and the Week 9 Player of the Week honor was her second of the season (Week 5, June 8-June 15)

The 6-foot-0 guard, center Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell will represent the Fever as starters in the the 2026 WNBA All-Star game. Alongside the main event of the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, the weekend long celebration will include competitions such as the Kia WNBA Shooting stars competition. Another competition that is always a fan favorite is the State Farm WNBA 3-point contest.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Alexa Philippou reported that Clark, New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu and Western Conference Player of the Week Kayla McBride of the Minnesota Lynx all declined to participate in the three-point contest.

The partcipants for this year are as follows:

  • Rhyne Howard - Atlanta Dream guard
  • Marina Mabrey- Toronto Tempo guard
  • Azzi Fudd - Dallas Wings gaurd
  • Bridget Carleton - Portland Fire forward
  • Natisha Hiederman - Seattle Storm guard
  • Janelle Salaun - Golden State Valkyries forward

"FYI: Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Kayla McBride were invited to participate in the 3-point contest but declined," Alexa Philippou reported on X. "A source told ESPN"

Indiana will host the Connecticut Sun at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
